Steam_api.dll missing to start black ops

Solution: Simple thing to do is reinstall the entire application. Also after the uninstall of current application, its advisable to run tuneup utilities. Then reinstall the game. After reinstall when the screen comes for directX and C++ redistributable, go for installation of both.
