Insert you disk and view the contents.
Copy/paste the patch folder(Acrobat-Pony-)to your desktop.
Open up the "Adobe Acrobat Pro X Serials" and the text file inside.
This will give you a list of serials to install the program.

Now you can install the program.
Click on "run setup.exe"
Enter one of the serial number from the serials text.
Click on "next"

Open the patch folder, inside open the "Disable Activation"
Double click on the "disable_activation",
a black cmd box will open and close very quickly.

Open the patch folder, inside open the "Patch dll" folder
Copy and paste
(overwrite the old ones, you can also back the old ones up first if you wish)
the two .dll files to:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 10.0\Acrobat

Then close the folder.

Disable Updates.

1. To open Preferences, choose Edit > Preferences (Windows) or Acrobat/Reader > Preferences (Mac OS).

2. In the Categories on the left, click Updater.

3. Choose one of the available options.

right click on the patch/keygen
Properties/Security/advance/Administrators/Change Permissions/
Administrators/edit/allow full control/apply all.

3) Some AV programs (AVG for one) need to also be disabled during installation.

Being admin and having full control are two different things.
You still need to give yourself full control of the file.
It is simple to do.

How to give your user full control of the Hosts file..

right click on the Hosts file.

Security

Administrators OR User or you may have to do this for both.
I would double check each one to see if you have full permissions
for both.

Tic the "Full control" box
then hit ok

Click on apply

Windows Security window will pop up, click on yes.

then click on ok, and ok, and ok

Right click on the Hosts file.
Save as "read only"
click on apply and then ok.

You may nedd to do this for admin and user.
If so do not save as read only until after you have changed both.
